The National Institute of Research in Tribal Health (NIRTH), Jabalpur is one of the 30 health research institutes working under the aegis of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Sprawling in a lush-green 44 acre campus located in the state of Madhya Pradesh - the heart of India, ICMR-NIRTH is surrounded by thickly-forested tribal dominated areas, and is the only publicly funded organization dedicated to research on health of tribes of the country.

Research Associate - I One post (UR)

Essential qualifications : Ph.D. In Biological Science or equivalent or having 3 years of research/ teaching and designing and development experience after post graduate degree.

Desirable qualifications : Candidate with experience in molecular laboratory and Bioinformatics / sequence analysis will be preferred.

Age Years : 35 Years

Consolidate monthly pay in Rs. : Rs. 36000/- HRA

Work Responsibility : Molecular biological work and DNA sequence analysis. Any other work assigned by the Director / Principal Investigator.

Research Assistant Two Post (1-UR, 1 OBC)

Essential qualifications : Graduate in Science / relevant subject/from recognized University with three years experience from a recognized Institution or Master degree in the relevant subject.

Desirable qualifications : Candidate experience in molecular laboratory and Bioinformatics sequence will be preferred.

Age Years : 30 Years

Consolidate monthly pay in Rs. : Rs. 31000/-

Work Responsibility : Molecular biological work and DNA sequence analysis. Any other work assigned by the Director/ Principal Investigator.

General Conditions:
The post is purely temporary and co-terminable with the project. Preference will be given to the local candidates and having higher qualification and work experience. The selected candidate will have no claim for regular appointment under ICMR/ ICMR-NIRTH. No TA/DA will be paid for attending interview. Age may also be relaxed in deserving cases.
