The Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University was established at Nanded by bi-furcating the Marathwada University, Aurangabad on 17th September 1994, the day on which in 1948 Hyderabad State was liberated from rule of the Nizam. Nanded is a district headquarters as well as a holy city situated on the banks of Godavari River in southeastern part of Maharashtra state.

Applications are invited for the post of Principal to be filled in Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy, Udgir, Tq. Udgir Dist. Latur, run by Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Prsarak Mandal’s Udgir. Eligible candidates should submit their application along with all necessary documents within Fifteen days from the date of publication of the Advertisement by Registered post only.

Qualification and Experience:
I. Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Master degree in Pharmacy with specialization in any Pharmacy discipline with first class in B.Pharm or M.Pharm at any one level and Ph.D. II. Minimum of 10 years experience with PhD in teaching/Research/Industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Assistant Professor or minimum of 13 years experience in teaching/Research/Industry.
In case of research experience, good academic year and books/research paper/publications/IPR/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by expert members of the selection committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be managerial level equivalent to Professor level with active participation record in devising/designing, developing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications/IPR/patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the selection committee. Flair for Management and Leadership is essential.
III. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance or Indicator (API) based Performance Board Appraisal System (PBAS) set out in this regulation in Appendix.

The term of appointment of the college Principal shall be tenure with eligibility reappointment for one or more term only after a similar selection committee process. (Pay scale As per AICTE, Govt. of Maharashtra Norms)

Salary and Allowances:
Pay scales as per the U. G. C., State Govt. & Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded rules from time to time.
