Job Description:
Seeking talented candidates with interest and experience in molecular biology and genetics for a postdoctoral fellowship. The successful candidate will work independently within a diverse collaborative group and will apply computational approaches to work on problems in the genetics of human disease and population genetics. We have large data sets representing genomes of patients from across the world and with significant representation of Asian populations.
Candidate Profile
• A PhD degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or a related discipline, with a strong background in analysis approaches to genomic sequence data.
• A demonstrated ability to think critically, work independently and solve complex problems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with analytical approaches relevant to human disease and population genetics is desirable.
