Alleviating human suffering has been a part of dedicated services of Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanams to the mankind. To provide the most advanced medical technology to the needy, the T.T.D. has launched a monument, a blessing from the Lord by opening Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, a sophisticated super specialty hospital at Tirupati. SVIMS was conceived in the year 1986 on the lines of AIIMS, New Delhi and the foundation stone was laid on 18.4.86 by Late Sri.N.T.Rama Rao, the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in the world famous pilgrim town Tirupati. It was established with a view to providing Super Specialty facilities with nominal cost to the poor.
Post: Senior Research Fellow
Eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview for recruitment of one Senior Research Fellow in SVIMS Bioinformatics centre under the BTISnet Project entitled “Creation of Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility for promotion of Biology teaching through Bioinformatics” on 27.01.2018 at 2.00 PM in SVIMS, Tirupati. The engagement will be made purely on temporary basis for a period of one year and it can be likely to be extended based on performance or terminated at any time without notice or without assigning any reason thereof by the Coordinator of the Project. The person engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for absorption in the University.
Remuneration : Rs. 28,000 + 10% HRA per month (consolidated)
Essential qualification : M.Sc. Bioinformatics or M.Tech. (Biotechnology / Bioinformatics) with two years research experience in Bioinformatics
Desirable qualification : Experience in Bioinformatics research work or BINC / NET / GATE qualified.

Terms and conditions:
1. Candidates are required to submit the Biodata relevant certificates in support of their age and educational qualification etc., before the interview committee, SVIMS University, Tirupati.

4. The maximum age limit for Senior Research Fellow is 32 years for general category and 37 years for SC and ST category candidates as on 31st January, 2018.
