The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009, The Gazette of India, No. 27, published on 20th March, 2009 as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, His Excellency Shri Pranab Mukherjee, is the Visitor of the Central University of Rajasthan.
Post : RA / SRF / JRF – Organic Chemistry (1 post)
Applications are invited for the post of RA / SRF / JRF on contract basis to work on the CSIR project entitled “Design of Novel Bifunctional Amine-Urea/Thiourea Catalysts for Asymmetric C-C Bond Forming Applications” (Project tenure: 3 YEARS) sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Rajasthan.
Tenure of the position
One Year from the date of appointment (with a possibility of extension based on the candidate's performance and the avilability of funds)
Essential Qualification
RA: Possessing Ph. D. in Chemistry (Synthetic Organic Chemistry specialization will be prefered); candidates who have submitted their thesis can also apply.
Age Limit: maximum 35 years
SRF: Possessing M.Sc. in Chemistry and at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research/teaching experience as evidence from published papers in standard refereed journals.
Age Limit: maximum 32 years
JRF: Possessing M.Sc. Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and NET qualified.
Age Limit: maximum 28 years
Desirable Sound knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry reactions, hands-on experience of purification techniques, NMR and related techniques.
Fellowship
RA: Rs. 36000/- per month + HRA
SRF: Rs. 14000/- per month + HRA
JRF: Rs. 12000/- per month + HRA
