The North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, established on 15th August, 1990 under the Maharashtra Universities Act, XXIX of 1989, started its academic and administrative functioning from the academic year 1991-92. Within the span of 3 years, the University is recognized under section 2 (f) in 1991 and 12 (B) in 1994 under the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956. The jurisdiction of the University is extended over three districts i.e. Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar, a pre-dominantly tribal and rural area of Khandesh region.

Qualification
(1). Bachelors & Masters degree in Pharmacy with first class or equivalent either in bachelor or master degree.
(2) Ph. D or equivalent in appropriate discipline.
(3) Post Ph.D publications guiding Ph.D students is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 10 yrs Teaching/research/Industrial experience of which at least 5 yrs should be at the level of Associate professor. OR minimum of 13 yrs experience in teaching and or Research or Industry. In case of research experience good academic record and book /research paper publications /IPR/ patent record shall be required as deemed fit by expert members of selection committee.
