Sri Padmavathi School of Pharmacy (SPSP) run by Lords Auxiliary for Rural Development Society situated at foot hills of Lord Sri Venkateswara and Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi. SPSP is the first established Pharmacy College (1997) in Rayalaseema region. SPSP ranked among NO.5 in Andhra Pradesh and NO.1 in the Rayalaseema Region. The institute is renowned for the excellence in academic curriculum for the past 10 years. At present the institute imparts education in Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral level studies and conducts research in emerging/ thrust areas of Pharmacy. The department of pharmacy practice started functioning from the 1st October 2011 as a separate discipline. The department of Pharmacy Practice, SPSP has the MOU with Sri Venkateswara Ramnarain Ruia (SVRR) Government General Hospital in Tirupati. It provides education to Post Graduate and Pharm. D students on the rational use of drugs, enables and advocates advanced clinical p harmacy practice, and create and disseminate new knowledge about the effective, safe, and economical use of medications in people.
