Applications are invited for appointment of JRF under the scheme of DAE/BRNS (grant No. 34(01)/14/35/2014-BRNS), Govt. of India, Trombay, Mumbai for the project entitled “Electron Beam Irradiation Induced Graft Polymerization of Polysialic Acid onto Polycaproactone for Effective and Biocompatible Encapsulation of Therapeutic Agents” under the supervision of Dr. Anand S Deshmukh, Principal Investigator, Department of Pharmaceutics, Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College, Kim.
Emoluments: Rs 16,000/- p.m. for first two years and Rs. 18,000/- p.m. for subsequent year. Plus contingency grant of Rs. 20,000/- per annum and HRA (as per BRNS rules)
Duration of Project: 3 years
Qualification: The candidate must have M.Pharm. degree from recognized university in pharmaceutics/ pharmaceutical technology/ chemistry or M.Sc degree in polymer science/ polymer chemistry with at least 55% marks and has to be NET/GATE/GPAT qualified. Research experience of two or more year in the area of novel drug delivery system and polymer chemistry/polymeric nanocarrier is desirable.
The post is temporary and no extension will be made upon completion of the project.
