Today’s Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is the ‘dream come true’ of Bhagat Phool Singh Ji, who established a Gurukul for girls at Khanpur Kalan in 1936. Even after the demise of Bhagat Phool Singh, his equally dynamic daughter Subhashini Ji not only took control of Gurukul but worked vigorously in expanding the Gurukul in terms of its various constituent institutions like BPS Memorial Girls’ College (1967), BPS College of Education (1968), MSM Ayurvedic College (1973), BPS Mahila Polytechnic (1984), TIG Bhainswal Kalan(1999) and PSD Girls’ Law College (2003).

Teaching Assistants are required in the following subjects in various Teaching Departments of this University for current academic session. The qualifications will be as per the UGC/AICTE/BPSMV/State Govt norms. The candidates possessing NET/JRF/Ph.D. qualifications will be paid remuneration @ Rs. 432/- per hour basis with maximum ceiling limit of Rs. 21,600/- per month and those not possessing the above qualifications will be paid @ Rs.18,000/- per month. The candidates belonging to Haryana State reserved categories will be considered as per Haryana Govt. reservation policy, if available. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
