Job Description:
1. Media preparation as required and growth promotion tests (GMP)
2. Aseptic preparation of samples for microbiological analysis
3. Pipetting of diluted samples
4. Entering sample information into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
5. sterility testing for Raw Materials, intermediate, stability and finished products
6. To actively maintain and promote a GMP, ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping and safety are maintained
7. Isolation, sub-culturing and maintenance of organisms
8. Bacterial Endotoxin test, Endotoxin test validation and bioburden test
9. Method validation of MLT and all other applicable tests
10. Identification of gram stain level
11. Sampling and microbial analysis of water
12. Preparation of standard operating procedures(SOP)
13. Daily equipment checks and calibrations
14. Qualification & validation of Double Door Autoclave, Incubators and LF
Education:
M. Sc in Microbiology with experience from 1 to 3 years in a pharmaceutical company.
Desirable:
Approval in Microbiology.
