The ECHS Central Organisation is located at Delhi and functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ. The Central organisation is headed by Managing Director, ECHS, a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres ECHS and 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also an attached office of Dept of Ex-Servivemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD) as are Directorate General Resettlement(DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).

ECHS invites applications to engage following Medical Staff on contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinic Karwar for a period of one year (for ESM) /11 months (for Civilians) renewable for additional period of one year /11 months attaining till attaining the maximum age subject to performance of candidate/ other conditions according to the criteria as mentioned against each post
Minimum Qualification : (i) B.Pharmacy from a recognized Institute Or (i) 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology from a recognized Board. And (ii) Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered as pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948. (Minimum 5 years’ experience) (Reserved for Ex-servicemen 70%)

Preference will be given to the Ex-servicemen.

Interview will be conducted during the second week of Mar 2025. Date and timings will be intimated to eligible candidates who must bring all the Original Certificates/Mark sheets/Degree of 10th / Matric, 10+2 & Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma/Course, Work Experience and Discharge Book, PPO, Service records and recent PP size color Photographs at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible. Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply.
