Call for Project Technical Support III Position under ICMR Project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the Project Technical Support III position to work on the following project sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under the supervision of Prof. Nirmal J, Dept. of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.
Title of the project : Adult stem cell derived exosomes: A cell-free therapy for glaucoma.
Duration of the project : Three Years.
Fellowship amount : Rs. 28000 per month + 27% HRA (if applicable).
Eligibility criteria : Postgraduate in the relevant subject area (M.Pharm/M.Sc. or equivalent degree).
Ideal applicant background :
1. Experience in animal models for evaluating preclinical safety, pharmacokinetics and efficacy will be preferable.
2. Candidates with GPAT or equivalent exams will be given a preference.
3. Candidate must be interested in learning new concepts, tools, and techniques.
4. The applicant must demonstrate good writing and communication skills.
Preliminary shortlisting will be based on a resume and telephonic interview within one week of the last date of application. The candidate will be informed via e-mail for the final panel interview process. Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program of BITS-Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements and his/her performance.
