Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), is a Dept. of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) initiative and a not for profit organization based in Bangalore. We act as an enabler of Bioscience Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship by providing Research, Development, Training and Services in State Of The Art Technology Platforms. As a part C-CAMP's mandate of promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, C-CAMP has created and fostered an entrepreneur-friendly culture in and around academic/research environment through its involvement in seed funding schemes for Startups, Entrepreneur Mentorship program and Bio-incubation facility.
Position: IP Specialist
Essential:
- Post-graduate in Life-science/ Engineering.
- Registered Patent Agent.
- 3-5 years’ experience in drafting, filing and prosecution of Patent applications in India, coordinating with legal teams, advising clients on IP strategy and monitor compliance.
- Experience in performing comprehensive patent searches in curated database to identify relevant prior art and assess patentability.
- Experience in managing IP portfolios and monitoring patent and trademark dockets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients, legal teams, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Degree in Law.
- Experience in handling prosecution of patent application in other jurisdictions.
Tenure: Contract position initially for one (1) year extendable on performance evaluation.
Remuneration: Based on the candidate’s qualification and experience.
