Name of the Project : “INCENTIVE: Indo-European consortium for next generation influenza vaccine innovation” funded by DBT
Educational Qualifications : I. Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
II. Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable : Senior Project Associate (Virology) : The candidate should have experience in the virology field and be able to work in BSL3 virology lab. Candidates having experience in influenza biology and viral assays are encouraged to apply.
Senior Project Associate (Bioinformatics) : Candidates should be able to handle the genomics (NGS, RNA seq, ATAC-seq, single cell RNA seq etc.) analysis. The candidate should be able to design analysis pipeline and be able to work in the wet lab environment.
Candidates who have submitted/writing the PhD thesis and waiting for viva are encouraged to apply.

Job Description : Senior Project Associate (Virology): Selected candidate will carry out experiments related to the project such as immunogenicity and efficacy studies of flu vaccine candidates in NHP-ABSL3 facility and perform viral assays (HAI, MN, ELLA etc. Senior Project Associate (Bioinformatics) : Selected candidate will analyze the genomics and proteomics data generated from the project.
Emoluments : Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)
