The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Project Research Scientist - I
Applications are invited for a post of Project Research Scientist - I in Research Project entitled “Role of tryptophan catabolic pathway in the immune dysregulation and inflammatory hepato-billiaiy destruction in biliary atresia” under small grant for F. Y. 2024-25 onward for 3 years (subject to approval of DG, ICMR, New Delhi; Sanction No. EMDR/SG/12/2024-00685; Dated. 24.01.2024). The first year of the project will complete on 21.01.2026.
Educational Qualification : 1. First class postgraduate degree including integrated PG degrees (Immunology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology / Biochemistry 2. Second class postgraduate degree including integrated PG degrees in any of the above with PhD
Desirable : Working experience in Molecular techniques/ Flow cytometry/ Proteomics/Immunoassays etc.
Maximum age Limit : 35 years
Salary : Rs.56,000.00 + HRA @ 20% (P.M)
