Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the Project Research Scientist I (Junior Research Fellow) position in the ICMR-funded (Proposal ID No. IIRP-2023-5411/F1) project entitled “Development of Self- Powered Electrochromic Smart Display for Visual Detection of Folate Receptor Overexpressed Cancer Cells” under the joint supervision of Dr. Chanchal Chakraborty (PI, Department of Chemistry, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus), Prof. Balaram Ghosh (Co-PI, Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus).

Fellowship amount : Rs. 56000/- + 27%HRA = 71,120/-pm (as per ICMR OM dated 01.08.2023)
Eligibility requirements : First Class Postgraduate M.Sc. in Organic/inorganic Chemistry, Master in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, or M. Pharm. In Medicinal Chemistry
Desirable : GATE/NET/GPAT qualification The project is multidisciplinary, so knowledge and prior experience with materials synthesis and characterization, semiconduction characterization, cyclic voltammetry, cell cultures, and imaging will be crucial. Independent, resourceful individual with a strong motivation for research and an inclination to learn new techniques.
