Post : Research Associate - I (Project)
NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application to the post of “Research Associate-I (Project)” under the DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance project entitled “Study of neuronal regeneration using C. elegans ”.

Essential Qualification : Ph.D / MD /MS / MDS or equivalent degree or having 03 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc. / M.Pharm / ME / M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Desirable Qualification / Experience :
• Experience in Neuroscience and Genetics is needed.
• Expertise in molecular cloning for transgenic work, biochemistry is preferred.
Duties : Expected to work independently using C. elegans model and nervous system function
Fellowship : Rs. 50,000/- per month (Consolidated). No other allowances / benefits will be admissible
Upper Age limit : 40 years
Project Investigator : Prof. Anindya Ghosh Roy, Scientist VI, NBRC
Tenure : Appointment will be made on contract basis, initially for one year. Continuation of appointment will depend upon satisfactory performance during the appointment period and validity of the project. The post is co-terminus with the project.
Accommodation : Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to availability.
