The mandate of the Institute is to address the reproductive health issues of national and global relevance. The institute was established with an objective to develop novel and efficacious modalities for fertility regulation through research and thereby assist the government in its mission to stem the population boom. In the past four decades, however, the institute has grown beyond the mandate with which it was entrusted at the time of its genesis. In the wake of new challenges posed by new socio-economic structure, lifestyle modifications, environmental hazards etc.
Online Applications are invited on or before 15th February 2024 for the following vacancy for the project to be filled on purely temporary basis at ICMR-National Institute for Research in Reproductive and Child Health, J.M. Street, Parel, Mumbai 400012, Maharashtra. All applications will be screened and only shortlisted candidates will be invited for online interview. Project Scientist–I (01 Post)
Consolidated Salary : Rs.56,000/- + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification : Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent in subjects related to Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Biochemistry/ Biological Sciences/ Computer Science / Information Technology / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Deep Learning.
Desirable : Experience in structural bioinformatics or systems biology. Candidates must have good communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates having peer-reviewed publications.
Age Limit : 35 Yrs.
Duration : One Year (Extendable up to 2 years)
Scientific Administrative Assistant (01 Post)
Consolidated Salary : Rs.18000/- + 24% HRA
Essential Qualification : Graduate degree in subjects related to Life Science OR Data Analysis
Desirable : Knowledge of web-based tool development and good communication skills.
Age Limit : 28 Yrs.
Duration : One Year (Extendable up to 2 years)

4. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post.

11. The above post/s are filled-up purely on contractual basis & the candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent Employment under ICMR-NIRRCH or continuation of his/her services in any other project
