Application for the position of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for the MoE-STARS project "Carbon dioxide-fuelled Janus Nano-Flask Motors for Targeted Delivery of Therapeutic Cargo in Helicobacter pylori Infection" under the supervision of Prof. Swati Biswas. The candidate will be eligible to apply for the Ph.D. position next semester.
Scope of work : Synthesis of anisotropic Janus nanoparticles as self-propelled nanorobots Characterization of physicochemical features and motion dynamics Determination of antibacterial/ anticancer therapeutic effect in the in vitro assay systems Validation of the in vitro results in the in vivo animal models of H. pylori infections and cancer models.
Essential Qualification : Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (First-class) Preferably in Pharmaceutics from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification : GATE / NET / GPAT qualification with prior experience working on a project related to developing nano formulations, bacterial cell cultures, mammalian cell cultures, and in vivo experiments. Strong interest in learning new techniques Proficiency in spoken and written English is highly desirable.
