Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) was incorporated as a company under the Companies Act, 1956 on 19th August 1997 and was granted the certificate to commence its business on 18th September 1997. Subsequently, the transmission and distribution businesses of the erstwhile HSEB were transferred to HVPNL on 14th August 1998. This was done through transfer scheme, notified by the Government, vide Notification No. SO/06/HA/98/S 23,24 & 25/99, dated 14.08.1998 which entrusted HVPNL with the functions of Power transmission & distribution.

Qualification
(a) Matriculation or equivalent examination with science from Haryana Education Board or any other education Board or University recognized by State Government of Haryana
(b) Having Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institution recognized by the State Government of Haryana.
(c) The State Eligibility test in Computer Appreciation and Application (SETC) conducted by HARTRON or any other agency authorized by the State Government like NIELIT should be qualified by direct recruitee within the probation period of two years.
(d) Must have passed Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.
(e) Minimum age should not be less than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 42 years.
Remuneration : As Per Nigam wages
