Applications are invited for ONE position of PhD Scholar on project “Development of Fluorescent Probe-based Microfluidic Point-of-Care Testing Kits for the Early Phase Detection of Urinary Tract Infection” (PI Prof. Amrita Chatterjee (Goa campus); Co-PI Prof Satish K Dubey (HYD campus) and Prof. Malabika Biswas (Goa campus)) under the supervision of Prof. Amrita Chatterjee.
Scope of work : Primary role : Development of fluorophore for UTI detection, Detection of enzymes, Other roles: Development of microfluidic device
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. (or equivalent or higher degree) with 60% aggregate (equivalent CGPA in organic chemistry or equivalent
Desirable Qualification : NET/GATE/GPAT (hands-on experience in organic synthesis)
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000 - Rs. 42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance and as per the institute norms)
Duration : As per BITS Pilani norms
