The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER) Hyderabad is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament under the aegis of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (2 years) + Senior Research Fellow (1year) in SERB funded project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the post of Junior Research Fellow (2 years) + Senior Research Fellow (1year) at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, against the SERB funded project (GAP- 91) entitled “Synthesis and therapeutic evaluation of new FabI and InhA inhibitors as potent anti-bacterial and anti-mycobacterial agents.” The duration of the project is for 3 years.

Fellowship amount : Rs. 37,000/- PM +27% HRA (9,990/-) = Rs 46,990 per month for first 2 years (JRF) & Rs. 42,000/- PM+27% HRA (11,340/-) = Rs 53,340 per month for 3rd year duration of project.
Minimum Essential Qualification : The candidate should have a master’s degree (MS/M.Pharm/M.Tech/M.Sc.) in pharmaceutical chemistry/ Organic chemistry/ Process chemistry/Medicinal chemistry. Candidate must have qualified at least in one of the GPAT/GATE/CSIR/UGC/ICMR entrance tests with age not more than 28 Years on the last date of the application. Age relaxation will be provided as per SERB-DST, GoI norms.
Desirable : Candidate having experience in organic synthesis will be preferred
