The AIIMS, New Delhi model will be adopted and adapted. Unlike the Postgraduate Institutes which lack the basic departments like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology etc, the new AIIMS will have these departments as well as the superspecialty departments like neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, urology, endocrinology etc.
Post : Senior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the following post in an ICMR-funded project in the Department of Anatomy, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. (Life Sciences) with 2 years research experience OR MBBS / BDS / M.Pharma or equivalent
Desirable Qualification : Experience in animal surgery, immunohistochemistry, neuroanatomy and electron microscopy.
Age limit : 35 Years
Fellowship : As per ICMR guidelines (Rs. 35000+HRA)
Project Name : To study the role of cholinergic transmission on the amyloid beta induced neurodegeneration and therapeutic interventions for Alzheimer’s disease.
