NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against SERB funded project entitled Identification and characterization of CDK-cyclin pair in Theileria annulata and identification of small molecule inhibitor perturbing CDK-cyclin interactions.
PI: Dr. Anand Srivastava, Scientist-D, Co-PI: Dr. Abhijit Deshmukh, Scientist D.
Fellowship amount : Rs.47000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines
Eligibility :
a. Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or,
b. Having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc / M.Pharma / ME / MTech, with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Experience : Candidate with experience in molecular biology, cell culture, cloning of genes, expression and purification of proteins, will be given preference.
Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
Duration : One Year (extendable upon performance)
