This institute currently ranked 3rd in the country by India today & Times of India is spread over a campus in 122 acres. Attached to the college are 4 other institutes - Lok Nayak Hospital, GB Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Maulana Azad Institute of Dental sciences and Guru Nanak Eye Center. Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate-III, Research Assistant and Laboratory Technician on contractual basis for a period of 06 months, extendable depending upon the progress and requirement of the project or till the completion/ termination of the project, whichever is earlier under ICMR-Project entitled “Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) trends and serotype characterization of Streptococcus pneumoniae causing pneumonia and Invasive Pneumococcal Disease (IPD) in Indian children” at the Department of Microbiology,MAMC, New Delhi.
Research Associate -III (Non-Medical)
Essential Qualifications
PhD/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree in Microbiology / Life sciences with two years experience in research, teaching , design and development and at least two research paper in science citation indexed (SCI) journal OR M.Sc (Life Science) / M.Pharma / ME / M.Tech cell with five years experience in research, teaching, design and development and with at least one research paper in science citation indexed (SCI) journal
Desirable : With demonstrable experience in Microbiology/Molecular biology techniques i.e Bacterial culture, PCR. Real Time PCR etc.
Age Limit : 40 years
Salary : Rs 54,000/- +24% HRA per month
Research Associate -III (Non-Medical)
Essential Qualifications : Graduate in Science / relevant subjects from a recognized university with three years work experience from a recognized institution OR Master degree in biotechnology / Microbiology / Life sciences
Desirable : With demonstrable experience in Microbiology/Molecular biology techniques i.e Bacterial culture, DNA extraction. PCR, Agarose Gel, Electrophoresis etc.
Age Limit : 30 years
Salary : Rs 31,000/- per month
The duration of the appointment will be for 6 months extendable depending upon the progress and requirement of the project or till the completion/ termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
General Instructions for walk in interview
Note : Age will be considered as on the date of interview
1. Candidate should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, Experience , Aadhaar Card , along with one set of photocopies of the same duly self-attested and 2 passport size photographs at the time of interview. Candidate is required to bring the self attested copy of published papers along with the other documents.
2. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
3. The candidates shall have no right to claim for any regular employment at this institute.
4. The screening and the appointing authority has the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
5. Contract can be reviewed/extended for additional periods as per the requirement of the project and satisfactory performance of the staff.
