Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, India, is one among 54 such universities of Federal Government, which come under the purview of the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education of Government of India. It was established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 (Section 25 of 2009) as Central University of Bihar (CUB) and the name since changed by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act, 2014 to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB). It is an institution of higher learning in the state of Bihar. With the motto, i.e. ‘Collective Reasoning’ the University has been conducting its academic and administrative activities from permanent campus on a 300 acre plot of land at Panchanpur, situated about 15 kms away from Gaya town.

• All the candidates who had applied for this post against Advertisement No. CUSB/Advt./36/2019 dated 27.11.2019, need to apply afresh with required latest OBC/EWS certificate but need not to pay application fee if already paid.
• Minimum qualifications and Pay (as per 7th CPC): As per UGC Regulations, 2018 and applicable guidelines/ regulations of the respective regulatory body, if any for the concerned discipline.

• In case the University receives large number of applications for a particular post, in such a situation the University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of academic score which may be higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Screening Committee/s and approved by the Competent Authority.
• Application Fee : Rs. 2,000/- for General, OBC, EWS category and Rs. 1,000/- for SC/ST/PWD (Divyang)/Female candidates. Fee must be submitted through Online Mode.
• University reserves the right to consider and invite exceptionally suitable candidates in absentia.
