The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.

Applications are invited for the Junior Research Fellowship in the SERB,DST funded project entitled "Determination of foot bone quality, mechanical and material properties in people with Charcot neuroarthropathy in comparison to diabetic neuropathy" under Dr. Ashu Rastogi, Associate Professor, Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER Chandigarh.
Essential Qualifications : First class Master in any field of Life Sciences with NET qualified candidate (exam conducted by CSIR, ICMR, DBT, UGC etc.) Will be given preference as per policy of the institution.
Desirable : Candidate well-versed with molecular biology techniques shall be considered.
Upper Age limit : 28 years as on date of interview. (Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/women candidates as per GOI instructions).
Remuneration : As per SERB,DST rules
