Retired Armed Forces personnel till 2002 could avail medical facilities only for specific high cost surgery/treatment for a limited number of diseases covered under the Army Group Insurance(Medical Branch Scheme) (AGI(MBS)) and Armed Forces Group Insurance Scheme(Management Information System) (AFGIS (MIS)) schemes. These medicare schemes could provide some relief to the ESM, but it was not a comprehensive scheme as compared to and available for other Central Government Employees. Therefore, the requirement was felt of establishing a medicare system which could provide quality medicare to the retirees of the Armed Forces.

Basic Qualification :
(i) B.Pharmacy from recognized Institute OR
(ii) (10+2) with science stream from Recognized board
(iii) Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from Recongnized by the Pharmacy Council of India and Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
Application as per requisite format alongwith self attested photocopies of testimonials in support of Application Form along with copies of Address Proof, +12 Marks Sheet. Educational Certificates MBBS/BDS Mark Sheets (First to Final year), Internship Certificate. Attempt Certificate, Degree Certificate, Registration Certificate from Medical/Dental Council, Experience Certificates (as applicable for the appointment) and Medical Fitness Certificate will be forwarded to Station HQ, Garuda Lines, Cantonment, Trichy-620001. Application will be rejected if documents are incorrect/incomplete or not meeting the laid down criteria Last date of receipt of application is 26 Feb 2022. Candidate must reach Station HQ (ECHS Cell), Trichy-620001 at 09:00 am on the Date of Interview - Second Week of Mar 2022. Candidates must bring all the original certificates at the time of interview No TA/DA is admissible Only candidate meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply. ESM will also forward copy of discharge certificate and PPO along with Application Form. For intimation about application status, E-mail and Mobile Number of candidate are mandatory since no letters will be sent by post Only eligible candidates after scrutiny of application will be intimated the exact date of interview.
