All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar is one of the apex healthcare Institutes established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Under this scheme six new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences have been established at Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Rishikesh apart from the one at New Delhi. In his Independence Day Speech on August 15, 2003, then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajapayee announced opening up of 6 AIIMS Hospitals at Patna, Raipur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Rishikesh under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) launched for up gradation of medicare facilities in underserved areas of the country besides providing quality medical education in super-specialty disciplines in these areas.
Post : Junior Research Fellow
Eligible candidates are invited to attend WALK-IN INTERVIEW on 25th February 2020 the following dates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), sanctioned under project entitled “Study the regulation of cancer associated miRNA in different cancer cell by green tea polyphenols” under Dr. Amit Ghosh.
Essential educational qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech in Life Science or related fields with a minimum of 60% marks.
Desirable experience: Prior hands-on mammalian cell culture techniques, Realtime PCR, mRNA, MicroRNA expression and Western blotting techniques
Fellowship : Rs. 25300/- (consolidated) including HRA/month
Funding Agency : National Tea Research Foundation, India
Age : 30 years.
Duration : Upto Aug 2020
Tenure of the post : The position is purely temporary.

Employment will be automatically terminated upon completion of the project and there is no liability for permanent employment on AIIMS, Bhubaneshwar or Principal Investigator. Also the candidates have no right to claim permanent employment based on this job.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending this Walk-in-Interview.
3. All other terms and conditions will be regulated by the guidelines as issued by NTRF & AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
4. He/she has to give minimum one month prior notice for resignation from the post or He/she has to deposit one month salary in lieu of prior notice.
