Job Description
• Teach Chemistry and Chemical Biology to MSc and PhD students
• Be able to proactively identify and respond to the teaching needs of students and/or the institution.
• Be able to gather, disseminate and share best practice.
• Work with students to solve their problems in an effective way.
• Use, develop and support assistive technologies.
• Work to a professional code of ethics and remain impartial.
Additional responsibilities will also include:
• Organizing or facilitating teaching events and workshops.
• Developing teaching and learning materials.
• Creating new teaching and assessment strategies, education and career plan
Qualifications
• PhD in Chemistry with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree(s) in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
• A total of twenty years of teaching and research experience of which at least 8 years should be at the minimum level of Associate Professor (Scientist F) in institutions of national repute.
Age : Upper age limit is 65.
Remuneration : As per Nithi Ayog guidelines.
Duration : Initially for a period of two years and then extendable on mutual agreement.
Project Coordinator (RGCB M.Sc Biotechnology Program)
Job Description
• Acting as a channel of communication between MSc students, instructors, and office of academic affairs.
• Assist the Office of Academic Affairs in developing curriculum for presentation skills, entrepreneurship development and communication skills.
• Issuing necessary memoranda/orders pertaining to Academic matters.
• Providing details on assistantships, scholarships and other awards to the MSc students.
• Disseminating information pertaining to all academic matters.
• Handling all external matters such as student fellowships, loan applications and student summer scholarships.
• Receiving all incoming documents from students, departments and offices.
• Providing assistance to MSc course coordinators and Office of Academic Affairs in planning of classes, faculty allocation for classes, academic calendar, examination timetables, etc.
Qualifications
• Post Graduate Degree in Management with first class or equivalent and similar consistent record at the preceding degree(s).
• A minimum of ten years of management experience in reputed institutions/organizations.
Age : Upper age limit is 40 (relaxable as per Central Government rules).
Remuneration : As per Nithi Ayog guidelines.
Duration : Initially for a period of two years and then extendable on mutual agreement.
