Post : Junior Research fellow

Applications are invited for two positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST- Biomedical Device and Technology Development (BDTD) funded project entitled “Cardiac-Organ-on-Chip: Integrated Microfluidic Cardiac Platform for Drug Screening and Toxicity Detection”, under the supervision of Prof. Sanket Goel (PI), Dr. Satish Kumar Dubey (Co-PI), Dr. Arshad Javed (Co-PI) and Dr. Anasuya Ganguly (Co-PI).

Deserving JRF may be considered for Ph.D. program at BITS-Pilani if he/she meets the requirements of Ph.D. qualification process as per the institute norms.

Title of the project: “Cardiac-Organ-on-Chip: Integrated Microfluidic Cardiac Platform for Drug Screening and Toxicity Detection”

Duration of the project: 3 years

Fellowship amount: As per DST Norms (Rs 31,000 per month for first two years and Rs 35,000 per month for third year)

Eligibility requirements:
• For 1st JRF: M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/or equivalent. Experience in the area of MEMS / Microfluidics is highly desirable.
• For 2nd JRF: M.E./M.Tech. in Bio-Engineering / Bio-Technology / Biomedical Engineering/ Bio-Sciences/or equivalent. Experience in the area of Cell / Tissue culture is highly desirable.
