- An opportunity has arisen within Angus Pharmacy service for a Pharmacist to join our team. The post will provide clinical pharmacy services to a variety of wards within Angus including Stracathro, Arbroath Infirmary and Whitehills Forfar. There will also be the opportunity to develop skills within GP Practice Pharmacy. This post would be ideal for a pharmacist wishing to gain experience in locality pharmacy and to develop their clinical skills. You will be supported as a key member of the Pharmacy team as well as involvement with multi-disciplinary teams.
- As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team you will manage, develop and deliver pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients within the locality (including general medical practices, community hospital and patients' homes), under the direction of the Locality/Cluster Co-ordinator.
- We have an excellent structured training programme tailored to develop your clinical skills, as well as meet your individual needs. Newly qualified pharmacists will undertake the relevant Foundation programme or equivalent and for qualified pharmacists a suitable educational framework will be selected.
Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists and newly qualified pharmacists. Appointment to the band will be based upon relevant qualifications and experience as indicated in the person specifications. You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
