Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara was started in the year 1999 by our beloved Chairman, Prof. M. S. Jagtap. It is located in a sprawling 10 acres campus at the foot of the pictures que hill. The campus surrounding environment is lush green, healthy and studious. It is about 5 kms from NH-4 (Mumbai - Bangalore).
Today the college is recognised as one of the centres of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been dynamic progress at SCOP in all academic and research activities, and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure, to keep it on par with the best college in the country. The ideas on which the college is built evolve and change with national aspirations and trends world wide. Consciously developed, the campus has retained and increased its green cover, rich in natural flora and fauna. The peaceful atmosphere of the campus belies the full range of activities going on, that complements academic life. At present it is one of the leading institute in Shivaji University.

Conditions:
1. Educational Qualifications, Pay Scales and Service Conditions will be as per the existing rules of apex body and Government of Maharashtra.
2. Roman figures in the brackets show the number of times the post is being advertised.
3. Appointment to the post of Principal will be for a period of 5 years from the date of appointment or upto the attainment of the age of superannuation of the candidate, whichever is earlier. The appointment shall be on the basis of provisions of GR dated 5-3-2011, 23-11-2011, 1-12-2011, 23-2-2012 and 9-5-2014.
4. Reserved category candidates outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as Open Category candidates.
5. Reserved category candidates are advised to send a copy of their application to the Deputy Registrar, Special Cell, Shivaji University, Kolhapur- 416004.
6. Reservation for female / disabled persons will be decided by appointing authorities.
7. Reserved category candidates shall produce the Caste Validity Certificate as per the directives
issued by the State Government vice Circular No. BCC - 2011/Pra. Kra 1064/2011/16-B dated 12-12-2011.
8. Those who are already in service should apply through proper channel.
9. Incomplete application will not be entertained.
