Purpose of Job
Lead Tumor Metabolism efforts

Essential Qualifications
PhD in Life Sciences; molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, cell biology, biomedical sciences etc.

Essential Experience
8 to 10 years of post-PhD experience in industry or academia.

A highly motivated scientist with a proven track record in Cancer Biology and drug discovery
Hands-on experience in biochemistry, tumor metabolism and drug discovery are essential
Contribute/lead a project from target to a development candidate
Strong analytical skills are essential
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are required
People management experience is required

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be to lead drug discovery efforts in the tumor metabolism area
Train and mentor junior scientists in techniques and scientific knowledge in tumor metabolism area
Participate and contribute to other oncology discovery projects
Prepare and present data slides to the project teams, senior management and scientific advisory board
Self motivated to keep up-to-date on scientific and technology developments in the field
