The college was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.
Applications are invited on a plain paper for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Chemistry, MNIT Jaipur for a research project entitled “Development of Novel Artificial Naked Eye Fluoride ion Receptors” funded by Department of Science and Technology, (GOI). The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates those who have completed their M.Sc. in Chemistry/Medicinal/ Pharmaceutical with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a 10 point scale or equivalent as determined by the institute where letter grades are awarded; or 60% marks where marks awarded. Candidates who have passed NET/SLET or have a valid GATE score will be preferred.
Duration of the Project: Three years (as per the duration of the project) with an initial appointment for one year, and subsequently renewable for two more years after performance evaluation.
Fellowship: Rs 14,400/- p.m. for 1st two years and Rs. 16,800/- p.m. for the third year.
