Job Description
The QA Auditor is responsible for:
(1) Planning and conducting quality assurance audits of internal sites, suppliers, and contract vendor manufacturing, laboratory, packaging, warehousing, and distribution sites;
(2) Identifying opportunities to help assure high quality standards for products and compliance with prevailing regulatory laws and requirements and current Zoetis policies;
(3) Assessing GMP and QA related systems to assure that they are appropriate and operating in a good state of control;
(4) Writing audit reports with findings and observations and identifying their significance; providing guidance to the sites regarding corrective actions to be taken;
(5) Reviewing action plans provided in response to the audit and providing feedback as necessary;
(6) Participating in special projects as appropriate;
(7) Keeping current with company policies, industry guidelines/standards, and government regulations by participating in appropriate training activities.

Candidate Profile
Education:
Undergraduate degree in engineering, or science
Relevant advanced degree or training/certificate in auditing preferred
Experience:
5 years of relevant experience in auditing, Animal Health/ Pharma industry experience preferred
Prior experience conducting site audits and assessments, both internal and external (e.g. suppliers, service providers) service providers are generally calibration, pest control etc are those in scope?


Skills:
Ability to develop an audit program and carry it out
Familiarity with CGMPs (pharmaceuticals, Vaccines, and feed additives)
Familiarity with web based databases and computer systems
Problem solving ability (ability to recognize symptoms of problems or situations that require further evaluation, analyze symptoms to determine potential causes, suggest possible corrective actions)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Ability to analyze data and synthesize to make data driven decisions
Proficiency in English
