Applications are invited for Research Assistant from M.S. (Pharm.)/M. Pharm/M.Sc in National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research has been established under the aegis of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, Dept. of Pharmaceuticals as a Centre of Excellence in imparting higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences and is the first Institute of its kind in country. The Institute was declared as an Institute of National Importance by Government of India through an Act of Parliament, notified on 26th June 1998. The Institute is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Post: Research Assistant

Applications are invited for one position of Research Assistant under a project entitled “Stabilization of tetanus toxoid against moisture-induced aggregation” sponsored by ICMR, New Delhi;

Salary: Rs. 22,120/-p.m. (fixed)

EQ: M.Sc. in Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with two years research experience OR M.S. (Pharm.)/M. Pharm. in Biotechnology (with research experience). Documented research experience in protein analysis tools is desirable. Qualification can be relaxed for deserving candidates with relevant experience in the project area.

The above position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Walk-in interview will be held on 13.02.2014 (3.00-4.00 p.m.) in the office of Head, Department of Biotechnology of this Institute. Candidates should bring an application on plain paper, addressed to Director, NIPER, giving details of educational qualification and experience with name of the Institute, post held, etc. Names and contact details of at least two persons, who can be contacted for recommendation, should also be included. Original certificates need to be presented before the interview for verification.

Application should be accompanied by demand draft for Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST/PH) in favour of “Director, NIPER”, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Mohali/ Chandigarh.

Reservation of SC/ST and PH is as per GOI rules.

No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
