Applications are invited from interested candidates as research assistants for the various research projects for TEQIP-II Centre of Excellence in Process Intensification (CoE-PI) supported by MHRD, GoI New Delhi. The details related to various projects, eligibility criteria are given below:

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates having B.E./ B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology, B.Pharm, Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and M.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent with first class are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be given consolidated stipend of Rs. 14.000 per month (Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy or equivalent ) and Rs. 10,000 per month (B.E./ B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology; B.Pharm., M.Sc. (Chemistry) or equivalent).
Mode of Selection: Candidates will be selected based on personal interview.
Duration: Six month (extendable up to December 2014 based on performance)
1. Microwave Assisted/enzyme mediated extraction/synthesis of bioactive colorants lutein/lycopene/indigoid/azulenes
2. Microwave Assisted Process Intensification: experimental investigation for vapour phase catalytic reaction
3. Dyeing of Polyester and its blend using Nano-emulsions
4. Enzymatic process intensification for the manufacture of structured lipids to enhance the yield
5. Sorption-Enhanced Hydrogen Production
6. Process Intensification of Crystallization using sonochemical reactors
7. Design aspects of two-opposed-jet micro-extractor : Experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics
8. Microwave, Ultrasound, and solar energy assisted preparation of metal oxide nanomatrials
9. Process development of Nanostructured Metal Oxides by Sonochemical Technique
10. Microwave assisted Halogenation reactions using flow reactor
11. Process intensification through catalytic processes- Microwave Assisted Bifunctional Catalysis For Tandem Reactions
12. Process Intensification For Extraction Of Turmeric And Pepper Oleoresin By Enzyme- ( Assisted Supercritical Carbon Dioxide
13. Extraction of Natural Ingredients using novel extraction techniques
