National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi on behalf of National Centre for Disease Control, Dte. GHS, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the below mentioned post purely on contractual basis.
Post : Technical Officer (AMR) PM-ABHIM, MoHFW
Position : 01
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Coordinate with National AMR surveillance sites and states for AMR Surveillance data
2. Ensure AMR alerts are submitted by all programme sites to NRL for confirmation
3. Need assessment and organise data management/data software trainings
4. Onsite support visits to network sites/states
5. Conduct EQAS testing for network sites/state network labs
6. Conduct AMR alerts confirmations including genotypic characterisation
7. Conduct Genomic surveillance of AMR
8. Participate in lab trainings at NCDC and onsite when required
9. Assist laboratory trainings and other technical trainings
10. Any other work/activity assigned from time to time
Essential qualification : Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Microbiology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biomedical Sciences with Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Microbiology / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Bio medical Sciences.
Experience (Years) : 1. Minimum three years’ experience of conducting molecular research in bacteriology /clinical work in bacteriology laboratory 2. Must be Proficient in computer applications (MS-Word, Excel, and Power point).
Desirable : Experience of working in genomic surveillance of AMR /molecular characterization of Antimicrobial resistance
Age limit : Not more than 45 years
Remuneration Range : Rs. 75,000/month consolidated. No other allowances are permissible
Reporting Officer : Additional Director & Head (AMR Program), National Centre for Disease Control, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Place of posting : Division of National AMR Containment, NCDC, MoHFW, New Delhi.
