Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, an Autonomous Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, invites applications from well-qualified Indian nationals for contractual scientist position at the level of Project Scientist in the Life Science Division of IASST. The position is temporary, initially for 11 months, which may be extended based on availability of fund and performance and may be terminated with one-month notice without giving any reason.

Applications are invited for the recruitment of following positions on contractual basis under the DST, GOI funded project, entitled “Coacervate Protocells-Nanoparticle (CopAu) Platform for Point-of-Care Detection of Cardiovascular Diseases” at Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) Garchuk, Guwahati (Assam).
Number of posts : 1 (One)
Salary : 25000.00 (Rupees twenty-five thousand only, consolidated)
Essential Qualification : First-class Master’s degree in Chemistry (or equivalent) from a recognized university / institution.
Desirable Knowledge : Background in physical / organic chemistry, proficiency in UV-Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy, and experience with fluorescence microscopy.
Age limit : Not exceeding 28 years
Duration : Initial recruitment is for 01 (one) year and can be further extended based on internal assessment.
