Vacancy for Project Associate at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Post : Project Associate-I

Title of Project : “Bioinformatics Centre for Computational Drug Discovery- BIC at Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad”.
No. of Position : One

Emoluments : Rs. 31,000/- per month plus 24% HRA.
Duration : Initially for six months with further extension upon review.
Age Limit : Below 40 Years

Essential Qualifications : Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Bioinformatics with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification with minimum 60% marks is required to qualify for interview. Practical knowledge of Computational drug discovery, website development, and hardware management with publications in international peer-reviewed journals.

Desirable Qualifications : Knowledge and research Experience in enzymes involved in the processing of Nucleic Acids.
