Pharma Recruitment as Project Consultant at NICPR

ICMR - National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (ICMR-NICPR), Noida is a premier Institute of Indian Council of Medical Research under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Post : Project Consultant

ICMR-NICPR, Noida shall be filling the following vacant posts purely on temporary and contractual project posts, tenable at ICMR-NICPR, Noida. 

Project : “Strengthening and advancing smokeless tobacco control through implementation of evidence based frameworks addressing TAPS, PHW and public use of SLT in India” (funded by Vital Strategies, Bloomberg Initiative to Reduce Tobacco Use)
Monthly Consolidated Emolument (Rs.) : 75,000/- Consolidated

Essential Qualification : 1st Class Post Graduate Degree in Public Health / Public Policy / Health Management / Health Psychology / Pharmacology with 3 years’ experience or PhD from a recognized university / institution OR 2nd Class Post Graduate Degree in Public Health / Public Policy / Health Management / Health Psychology / Pharmacology with 5 years’ experience or PhD from a recognized university / institution.


Desirable
• Prior experience of working in Tobacco Control.
 • Prior experience in writing research reports, policy briefs etc. 
• Prior experience of coordinating different ministries, government departments and other stakeholders 
• Prior experience of writing scientific manuscripts, op-eds etc. 

Deliverables 
• Provide technical support to stategovernments for effective SLT control 
• Mapping of all types of SLTproducts 
• Development of policy brief and state-level factsheets on different domains of SLT regulation as per the WHO FCTC 
• Conduct policy focused research on existing and emerging challenges in SLT control 
• Organize meetings, webinars, and consultations with different stakeholders and drafting of reports and briefs
Age limit : 50 Years


Terms and Conditions
1. All positions are filled initial for six months and further extendable based on performance. However, in case of unsatisfactory performance, misbehavior etc. the contract can be terminated earlier. 
2. Appointment can be terminated at any time during the engagement from either side after serving a notice period of one month. 
3. It may be mentioned here that incomplete applications, application not submitted in prescribed format and application without supportive documents asked for shall be summarily rejected. 
4. Experience shall be counted from the date of completion of the minimum essential educational qualification. 
5. Submission of incorrect or false information during the process of walk-in- interview/or Personal discussion shall disqualify the candidature at any stage. 
6. The Director reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement. 
7. No benefit of provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. will be considered, since the posts are purely temporary basis. 
8. Age relaxation is admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates in respect of posts reserved for respective category only and not for unreserved post as per GoI rules. Age relaxation to Ex-servicemen/Departmental candidates including projects shall also be applicable as per Govt. of India/ICMR Norms. 
9. Age limit and experience will be considered as on the date of walk-in-interview/personal discussion. 
10. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview/personal discussion/written test. 

11. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee selection. 
12. Candidates already working against regular/permanent posts under government departments/organizations are not eligible to apply. 
13. Community/ Caste certificate: Candidates shall submit attested copy of OBC Non – Creamy Layer Certificate in specified format as applicable for GoI jobs, issued within one year from the date of walk-in- interview test and / or personal discussion by the appropriate authority. Only Non-Creamy Layer as per Central list OBC certificates will be accepted and other certificates will not be accepted.
14. Candidates applying for EWS category post must possess income and asset certificate to be issued by the District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner Additional Deputy Commissioner/SDM etc as per DoPT OM dated 31.01.2019. 
15. The above posts are filled-up on purely temporary/ contractual basis and the Candidate will have no right to claim for any type of Permanent/ regular employment under ICMR-NICPR or continuation of his/her services in any other project. 
16. In case of large number of eligible candidates after scrutiny of applications, a short listing criteria can be used or a written test may be conducted. The written test shall consist of objective type questions. 
17. The Director has the right to accept/reject any application and/ or withdraw the advertisement without assigning any reason thereof and no correspondence/recommendation will be entertained in this matter. 18. Canvassing and bringing inside or outside influence in any form for shortlisting and employment will be treated as a disqualification and the candidate will be debarred from the selection process. 
19. No request for change of Date of Interview shall be entertained. 
20. Those appearing for Walk-in-Interview/personal discussion/written test, he/she must bring all original certificates (1) Educational qualification (2) Proof of Date of birth (3) Experience certificates/testimonials, a brief CV, and a list of publications (4) One-self attested recent passport size photograph (5) ID Proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License etc.) (6) One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents. (7) SC/ST/OBC/EWS Certificates, as applicable. (8) Candidates should produce all certifications/testimonials in original for verification at the time of walk in –interview/ personnel discussion/ written test.

21. Any Addendum/Corrigendum in respect of the above vacancies shall be issued on websites https://nicpr.org/career and no separate notification shall be issued in the press. No other mode of correspondence will be made. Applicants are requested to regularly visit these websites to keep themselves updated. 
22. In case of variation in Hindi & English version of notification, English version shall prevail. 
23. Candidate shall maintain order and discipline in the Institute and adhere to the following: 
(a) Spitting in public & work place shall be punishable with fine, as may be prescribed in accordance with its laws, rules or regulations by the State/UT local authority. 
(b) Large physical gathering at one place should be avoided. 
(c) Loitering and crowding in corridors should be avoided and people should maintain distance.

Shortlisted candidates shall be called to attend the walk-in-interview/ personal discussion/written test at ICMR-NICPR, Sector-39, Noida, UP-201301 along with original supporting documents viz. date of birth, identification, qualifications and experience.
