It is hereby informed that through advertisement number ukmssb/Ex./15/2024-25/749, dated 19 October, 2024, detailed advertisement for direct recruitment to 73 vacant posts of Pharmacist (Pharmacy) under Group 'C' in Government Medical College under Department of Medical Education Uttarakhand is being published. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.
Post : Pharmacist
No of posts : 73 (SC-13, ST-02, OBC-10, EWS-07, UR-41)
Pay Scale : Rs.35,400 - Rs.1,12,400/- (Level 6)
Qualifications : Educational Qualification and Preferential Qualification For direct recruitment to the posts in the service for the post of Pharmacist, it is
Essential that the candidate should have a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution and Should be registered with Uttarakhand Pharmacy Council / Uttarakhand Pharmacist Registration Tribunal.
Preferential Qualifications:- Other things being equal, in case of direct recruitment, preference will be given to such candidate who-
1. Has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 02 years, or
2. Has obtained "B" certificate or "C" certificate of National Cadet Corps.
Order passed in Ranjan Kumar Pal vs. State of Uttarakhand and others in Ranjan Kumar Pal v. State of Uttarakhand and others dated 09.12.2016 that they are not Notarized affidavit of "Allopathy or Veterinary Department" is required to be submitted at the time of record verification.
It is compulsory for the candidate to have a standing / renewed registration certificate till the last date of online application in State Pharmacy Council Uttarakhand. If the candidate's registration is not valid / renewed by the last date of submission of application-sheet, he/she will be declared ineligible.
Age:- The fixed date of age calculation is 01st July 2024. The age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years on 01st July 2024 and not more than 42 years.
Provided that the scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and such other categories of the State of Uttarakhand as may be notified from time to time by the State Government shall be subject to a higher age limit of several years.
Nationality:- A candidate for direct recruitment to any post in the Service must be-
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(c) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or any East African country, Kenya, Uganda and the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar with the intention of permanently settling in India:
Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government.
Provided that a candidate belonging to category (b) or (c) of the above category shall also be required to obtain a certificate of eligibility from the State Government. Provided also that if a candidate belongs to category (c) above, a certificate of eligibility shall not be issued for a period exceeding one year and such a candidate shall be retained in service beyond the period of one year subject to the condition that he has acquired the citizenship of India.
Note: A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary but the same has neither been issued nor has been refused may be admitted to an examination and may also be provisionally appointed subject to the condition that the necessary certificate is obtained by him or issued in his favour.
Character :- A candidate for direct recruitment to a post in the Service must have such character which makes him fit for employment in the Government Service. The Appointing Officer shall satisfy himself in this regard. Note:- Persons dismissed by the Union Government or a State Government or by any local authority or by any local corporation or body owned or controlled by the Union Government or a State Government shall not be eligible for appointment to any post in the Service. Persons convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude shall also not be eligible for appointment.
Fee : To fill the online application form, the candidate will first have to register online. Thereafter, after filling the complete application form, he will have to pay the application fee. Application fee can be paid online (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI). If the fee is deposited after the last date prescribed for depositing the application fee, then the candidate will not be able to apply and the deposited fee will not be refunded to the candidate under any circumstances. The candidate must keep the receipt of the deposited fee / copy of the online application safe with him.
It is mandatory for the candidate to deposit the following application / examination fee :-
Unreserved (General) : Rs.300/- only
Economically Weaker Section (EWS) : Rs.150/- only
Uttarakhand Other Backward Class (OBC) : Rs.300/- only
Uttarakhand Scheduled Caste (SC) : Rs.150/- only
Uttarakhand Scheduled Tribe (ST) : Rs.150/- only
Uttarakhand Divyang : Rs.150/- only
Note
a. Candidates of Uttarakhand women, ex-servicemen, freedom fighters dependents, orphan children of Uttarakhand state, Uttarakhand state agitators and their dependents and skilled sportspersons sub-category, whichever category or category they belong to, such as General category or Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class category, will have to deposit the prescribed fee for the same category/category.
b. The fee deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances.
c. After depositing the examination fee, if the candidate wishes, he can cancel his application in case of any error and apply again, but the fee deposited on cancelling the application will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Very Important Instructions
a. Candidates must mark the category/sub-category related to vertical and horizontal reservation in the online application form. In case of not claiming reservation, the benefit of reservation will not be allowed to the candidate at any cost. The certificate related to reservation must be held by the candidate till the last date of filling the online application form.
b. Candidates must ensure that they possess the mandatory educational, caste certificate, horizontal reservation certificate and other qualifications mentioned in the advertisement till the last date of filling the online application form.
c. The date considered for educational qualification of the candidate will be the date of mark sheet issuance. If the desired qualifications are not confirmed as per the advertisement, the candidature will be cancelled, the responsibility of which will be entirely of the candidate. Candidates are cautioned to apply only after fulfilling all the conditions of the advertisement.
d. The Board does not advise the candidates on their eligibility, therefore, candidates should carefully study the advertisement and apply only if they are satisfied that they are eligible as per the conditions of the advertisement.
e. Mere issuance of Admit Card to a candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally confirmed by the Board. If at any stage it is found that the candidate was not eligible or his/her application should have been rejected or was not eligible to be accepted at the initial stage, his/her candidature will be cancelled and even if he/she is finally selected, the recommendation of the Board will be withdrawn.
f. No change of any kind in the details given in the online application form will be permitted under any circumstances. No change of any kind in the date of issue of category/sub-category certificate and certificate number in the online application form will be permitted under any circumstances. While applying online, candidates should carefully mark the category/subcategory details.
g. Candidates should ensure that their signatures in their application form, attendance list etc. and in all correspondence with the Board should be identical and there should be no variation in them. If any variation is found in the signatures of the candidates at different places, the Board can reject their candidature.
h. Candidates are cautioned to apply only after fully satisfying themselves that they fulfil all the conditions of the advertisement/examination.
i. The Board does not give any advice to the candidates regarding their eligibility, hence candidates should read the advertisement carefully and apply only if they are satisfied that they are eligible as per the conditions of the advertisement. No fee will be refunded in cases of applications rejected on grounds of being overage, underage, ineligible on grounds of educational qualification or violation of rules, procedures etc.
j. Candidates applying against the advertisement should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for the post applied for. Their admission at all the stages of selection will be purely provisional provided they fulfil the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of Admit Card to a candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Board. If at any stage it is found that the candidate was not eligible or his application should have been rejected or was not eligible to be accepted at the initial stage, his candidature will be cancelled and even if he is finally selected, the Board's recommendation will be withdrawn.
k. Only the date of birth mentioned in the High School Certificate will be valid.
l. While applying online, the candidate should mention the total marks in the Diploma marks as obtained by him in all the semesters. Candidates should please check carefully that they enter and mention the total marks of each year of their Diploma in the application form. If any candidate does not enter and mention the total marks of each year of Diploma in the application form, such applications will be rejected.
m. The candidature of those candidates who are not found eligible as per the terms and conditions of the advertisement will be cancelled and their claim for selection will not be valid. The decision of the Board regarding the candidature/qualification/eligibility of the candidates will be final. The list of ineligible candidates will be published on the Board's website.
n. In all correspondence with the Board, the candidates must mention their name along with the name of the advertised post, advertisement number, date of birth of the candidate, father's/husband's name, registration number and roll number (if mentioned).
o. Candidates must sign the correspondence in the same manner as they have uploaded in the online application form. Correspondence with the Board by any person other than the candidate will not be valid.
