Post : Scientific Assistant (Genetic Counsellor)
Education Qualification, Experience : B.Sc., B.Tech, BA or equivalent Degree in Medical or Human Genetics/ Life Science/ Nursing/ Clinical Psychology/ Social Sciences/ Social Work and Equivalent in Related Fields. Candidates should have minimum one year Hands on experience in Genetic counselling, preferably in cancer genetic counselling.
Desirable : Experience in developing individualised, evidence based clinical risk management plans for diverse Hereditary cancer syndromes alongside proficiency in Public Genomic Databases and knowledge of bio-banking practices.

Consolidated Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/-
Above mentioned post are purely on contract basis through third party. Eligible candidates may attend the interview at H.R.D Dept, Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, New Chandigarh, Medicity, Mohali, Punjab. The candidates are required to bring along with them updated Resume, Passport size Photograph, Originals and Photocopies of PAN card, Aadhaar card, all Educational/Academics and Experience Certificates. In case of more candidates, MCQ test will be conducted and eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the interview accordingly. Norms can be relaxed for the deserving candidates.
As per experience, the meritorious candidates may be considered for higher salary.
