Applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection and appointment through direct recruitment for various posts in the following successor companies of M.P. State Electricity Board which are working in the field of generation of electricity, distribution of electricity, transmission of electricity and management of electricity.

No of post : 02 (OBC-1, SC-1)
Qualification : Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) education system 12th (Science Faculty) examination from a Board of Education recognized by the State Government or Government of India and minimum 65% marks (equivalent CGPA) for unreserved and OBC candidates of M.P. origin from a University / Institute recognized by the State Government or Government of India / minimum 60% marks (equivalent CGPA) for regular employees working in successor companies of erstwhile M.P. State Electricity Board / M.P. For SC, ST, Economically Weaker Section and Divyaangjan candidates belonging to the state of Uttar Pradesh, it is mandatory to have passed regular Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks (equivalent CGPA). Along with the above, it is mandatory to have a live registration as Pharmacist in M.P. Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit :
1. Age limit will be calculated from 01 January 2024 in the calendar year.
2. Minimum age limit will be 18 years and maximum age limit will be as follows. Maximum age limit for Security Sub Inspector and Security Soldier will be 33 years:-

3. The above provision of age limit has been implemented by the circular number C 3- 8/2016/1/3 Bhopal dated 04.07.2019 of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, General Administration Department. The relaxation in age limit applicable in respect of OBC will be applicable only to non-creamy layer candidates native of Madhya Pradesh. Creamy layer candidates will be considered as unreserved category.
4. The maximum age limit for applying for departmental employees working on regular basis in successor companies of erstwhile State Electricity Board will be the age of retirement in vogue. The maximum age limit for applying for the post of Line Attendant (V) for departmental employees will be 55 years.
5. As per the contract policy applicable in successor companies of erstwhile M.P. State Electricity Board, contract employees working on equivalent contract posts in successor companies will be given age relaxation equal to the service rendered by them (i.e. 1 year age relaxation for every 1 year of completed service). If any contract officer/employee has been removed in any period and he has again got contract appointment on the same post or on any other post, then the contract period of 05 years will be calculated by deducting the period of separation from service. Including all age related relaxations, the maximum age of contract officer/employee will not exceed 55 years.
6. Vikram Puraskar awardees will be given 5 years relaxation in maximum age as per General Administration Department, M.P. Government Memorandum No. C-3/18/85/3/1 dated 03.09.1985. For example, if the age of the Vikram Puraskar awardee is 42 years, then the maximum age limit will be 45 years.
7. Under the Inter-caste Marriage Promotion Scheme of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes Welfare Department, M.P. Government, upper caste members of awardee couples will be given 5 years relaxation in maximum age as per General Administration Department, M.P. Government Memorandum No. C-3/10/85/3/1 dated 29.06.1985. For example, if the age of the upper caste member of the awardee couple is 41 years, then the maximum age limit will be 45 years.
8. In compliance of the order dated 08.02.2022 passed by the High Court of India, Jabalpur, Principal Seat in WP No. 2108/2022, candidates belonging to EWS category will be given age relaxation as per other reserved categories i.e. SC, ST and OBC etc. However, this relaxation will be subject to the final outcome of the petition.
9. Ex-servicemen applicants can deduct the period of defence service rendered from their age, provided the resultant age does not exceed 3 years from the maximum age limit.
10. The date of birth of the candidate as mentioned in the High School (10th) mark sheet/certificate, which clearly mentions the actual date of birth of the candidate, will be valid.
11. The age relaxation applicable to Government/Corporation/Board/Autonomous Institution/Home Guard employees under Madhya Pradesh Government will be admissible only if they are in continuous service at the time of applying online and also at the time of document verification. After applying online, if he/she is not in service due to resignation/expulsion or any other reason at the time of document verification, then he/she will not get the benefit of age relaxation applicable for Home Guard under Government/Corporation/Board/Autonomous Institution/Madhya Pradesh Government.
12. The above mentioned age relaxation will be applicable only on production of relevant certificate issued by the competent authority.
13. The maximum age limit shall not exceed 45 years under any circumstances except departmental/contractual employees/ex-servicemen working in successor companies of erstwhile M.P. State Electricity Board. The maximum age limit shall not exceed 38 years under any circumstances for Security Sub Inspector and Security Soldier.

Selection Process
1. Selection of applicants for the respective post will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT). The Computer Based Test will be of 100 marks in which each question will be multiple choice of 01 mark.
2. Syllabus for Computer Based Test (CBT) will be published separately for each post.
3. Minimum cutoff marks in Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 25%.
4. For those posts of the cadre which are available in more than one company, the applicant while applying online will have to select the option of different companies (i.e. M.P. West Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Indore, M.P. Power Transmission Company Limited, Jabalpur, M.P. Power Management Company Limited, Jabalpur, M.P. East Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Jabalpur, M.P. Central Zone Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Bhopal and M.P. Power Generating Company Limited, Jabalpur) in sequence. On selection of the candidate, the company will be allotted to the candidate on the basis of availability of post and merit in the companies as per the sequence of options entered.
5. Selection of applicants against the posts reserved for Divyangjan will be done through walk-in. Walk-in means that if an applicant possesses the minimum qualification and experience (if necessary) prescribed for the advertised post, then on online application by such applicants, their selection will be done as per merit on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed essential educational qualification (without computer based test), after successful verification of applicants' documents, only against the posts advertised for disabled persons. In case two or more applicants have equal marks in the prescribed essential educational qualification, priority will be decided as follows:
(i) Applicant having higher age as per date of birth will be given preference.
(ii) If one or more applicants meet the above conditions, preference will be given to the applicant with higher marks in class 10th. Divyangjan applicants are advised to participate in the general recruitment process by appearing in the Computer Based Test (CBT). 6. For the post of Line Attendant (Distribution) Trainee, applicants who have worked as meter reader on contract basis for at least 3 years in any of the three electricity distribution companies of M.P. under the Meter Reader Scheme, will be given a maximum of 10% bonus marks in the online competitive examination in relation to work experience, but applicants whose contract has been cancelled due to unsatisfactory work will not be eligible. Only those applicants will be eligible for bonus marks who fulfill the conditions of educational qualification, age and native place etc. Work experience will be calculated by adding the period mentioned in the separate work experience certificates submitted by the candidate till the last date (full month) of accepting online applications. Selection process will be done by maintaining a combined merit list by adding bonus marks earned as per eligibility in relation to work experience only after securing minimum percentage of marks in the online competitive examination.
7. For Line Attendant (Distribution), Security Sub Inspector and Security Soldier, applicants will be eligible to participate in the next selection process only if they are found eligible in the physical efficiency test. Only the candidate provisionally selected for the next process against the reserved post advertised for disabled persons in the above mentioned post cadre will be exempted from the physical efficiency test.
Application fee and other charges
For applicants of unreserved category (UR) - Rs. 1200/-
For applicants of Scheduled Caste (SC)/OBC/Divyangjan (Specially abled)/Economically weaker section (EWS) who are native of M.P./local resident Scheduled Tribe (ST)/OBC (Non-creamy layer) - Rs. 600/-
Application fee is non-refundable and non-refundable under any circumstances. Application fee payment will be accepted only through online mode (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI). Payment options are provided in the online application form for payment of application fee.
1. Bank transaction charges for payment of online application fee, if applicable, will be borne by the applicants themselves.
2. Application fee and other charges, as applicable, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances nor can be held for any other recruitment or selection. Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility as per the conditions mentioned in the rule book before making payment of application fee and other charges.
3. No applicant should submit more than one application for a post. In case a candidate has submitted more than one application for a post, only the latest complete application of that candidate will be considered eligible and valid. Moreover, application fee and other charges paid for more than one application will not be refunded.
4. If the applicant wishes to apply for more than one post, then the applicant will have to apply separately for each post.
General conditions regarding eligibility
1. The candidate should be a citizen of India.
2. The cut-off date for counting experience in respect of departmental contractual/regular employees shall be the last date for submission of application. The candidate shall produce experience certificate issued by the superintending minister/general manager or an officer of higher rank in the prescribed proforma which shall be provided along with the application form.
3. Candidates working in Government/semi-government/public sector organizations/successor companies of M.P. State Electricity Board fulfilling the eligibility criteria, education and age are required to produce No Objection Certificate from the employer, which must clearly mention that "no departmental proceedings have been instituted or contemplated against the candidate".
4. Candidates whose third child is born on or after 26.01.2001 shall not be eligible to participate in the selection process. But such candidates who have twins after their first child will be eligible.
5. Other Backward Class (Non Creamy Layer) candidates will have to submit certificate of last three financial years (issued by Tehsildar or higher post).
6. The benefit of EWS reservation will be given as per letter No. F-07-11/2019/A.P./1 dated 02.07.2019, No. F-07-11/2019/A.P./1 dated 18.07.2019 and No. F-07-11/2019/A.P./1 dated 22.11.2019 of MP Administration, PWD. Candidates will have to submit income and property certificate of last financial year issued by competent authority (Tehsildar) to avail the benefit of EWS reservation.
7. SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates will have to submit caste certificate issued by the competent authority of M.P. Caste certificate applicable for Central Government services will not be accepted. Disabled candidates will have to submit disability certificate issued by the competent authority/District Medical Board.
8. Candidates who have married before the minimum age prescribed for marriage are not eligible to apply as per the notification dated 10.03.2000 published in the Gazette of M.P. Government.
9. The provisions contained in the order No. 3-17-96-3-1 of the General Administration Department of M.P. Government, Bhopal dated 25.10.1996 will also be applicable.
10. At the time of selection or in future if it is found that the candidate has submitted forged/fake/fake documents, mark sheets etc. or his selection has been done on the basis of wrong information then not only he will be removed from service/contract immediately but legal action will also be taken against him.
11. After selection, the candidate is required to submit medical fitness certificate issued by District Medical Board before joining the job.
12. Applicants who have been dismissed (DISMISS) by Government/Semi Government/Public Sector Organizations/Successor Companies of M.P. State Electricity Board etc. will not be eligible to apply.
13. The Company reserves the right to change/modify these terms and conditions at any time.
14. If any information given by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect, the service contract will be considered avoid initio and will be liable for termination without any notice or remuneration in lieu of notice.
