Kolkata City NUHM Society will engage the pharmacists as mentioned below for its Urban Primary Health Centres in Kolkata City area purely on contractual basis. The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal and the applicant must have knowledge of local languages as per Order Memo no HFW/NHM - 332/2023/1003(3).dt.31.07.2023

Essential Qualification:
1) The candidate should have minimum qualification two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (Allopathic) recognized by the Government of West Bengal pharmacy Council and registered as "A” category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council.
Weightage will be given for higher Qualification.
2) The candidates must have proficiency in Bengali and must have efficiency in computers including MS Office and Internet
Age (as on 01.01.2023): Not more than 40 Years, (age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates as per extant Govt. Norms.)
Reservation: Reservation will be made as per Govt. Rules.
Remuneration : 22,000/-(twenty two thousand only) per month.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be done on the basis of merit and practical examination. Application will be first shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in final qualification (highest basic qualification) as D. Pharma / B. Pharma / M. Pharma. Shortlisted candidates will be called for practical test in the ratio of 1:10, i.e. for one declared post of Pharmacist, 10 candidates will be called for practical test. In Computer Test, which will count as practical test, candidates have to obtain at least 50% marks to qualify for the post.
Panel for engagement:
A panel of selected candidates in the ratio of 1:2 will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained on basic qualification and computer test, for engagement in the post of Pharmacist as per rule, Selected candidates from the panel will be engaged in the declared vacancies and if any vacancy arises in future following resignation etc., the panel will be utilised for filling up the said vacancy of the post.

The sealed envelope should be submitted in the Drop Box kept in front of room no 254 2nd floor of CMO Bldg.
Date of submission of applications: from 15.12.2023 to 22.12.2023 (excluding Sunday and holidays)
Time of submission: Monday to Friday-from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday-from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
No application will be received by post/courier. No application will be received in the Drop Box after 22.12.2023.

a} Application forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled. The candidature will also not be considered if the documents required for the post are not submitted along with application.
b) The Essential Qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection. All the essential qualifications must be completed on the date of submission of application.
c) Candidates must be submitted photocopies (self attested) of documents along with original filled up application form duly signed by candidates as mentioned below.

• All mark sheets pass certificates of the essential academic qualification (D- Pharma/B-Pharma/M-Pharma).
• Madhyamik and H.S. mark-sheets are not required.

• Ex-serviceman and Sports Certificate( as per Govt. Rules)
• Photo proof Identity card & proof of Address [Passport/Voter ID/Aadhaar)
d) No rounding off of marks will be granted. Proportionate marking upto 2 decimal points will be considered.
e) The decision of the competent authority regarding the engagement will be final.
f) The Kolkata City NUHM Society reserves the right to change/modify any/all of the above conditions.
