The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD) although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission, goal and objectives.
Post : Project Scientist
Applications are invited from the qualified and interested candidates for nine (09) nos. ofproject scientist positions at Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal and its center at Shillong, Gangtok and Aizawl.
Project Scientist-III
Essential Qualification : (i) Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) Seven years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable : Candidate with experience in natural product research.
Upper Age limit (Years) : 45
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) : 78,000/- +HRA
Project Scientist-II
Essential Qualification : Ph.D in Life Sciences, Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university with three years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organization and scientific activities and services. Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research.
Upper Age limit (Years) : 40
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) : 67,000/-+HRA
Project Scientist-I
Essential Qualification : Ph.D in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university. Desirable: Candidate with experience in natural product research.
Upper Age limit (Years) : 35
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) : 56,000/-+HRA
Note : The number of above positions may be increased or decreased based on the availability of suitable candidates in each category. The reservation will be as per the Govt. of India norms. Selected candidates has to work in any center/node of IBSD.
