Hiring of Pharmacists (Jan Aushadhi Store Managers) on Profit Sharing Basis for Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras (PMBJAKs) under PMBJP at associated Hospital Govt. Medical College Baramulla. Applications are invited from eligible Registered Pharmacists on prescribed format to work on profit sharing basis in the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya janaushadi kendras (PMBJK) to be set up by the department at associated hospital GMC Baramulla.

Eligibility : 10+2 with science or above qualification with diploma in pharmacy Training course from any recognized Institute / SMF, Registered with Pharmacy Council of J&K.
Selection Criteria : 1.10+2=10 points)
2. Diploma = 60 Points
3. Additional higher Qualification = 05 points.
4. Experience in the relevant line = 05 points.
5. Viva vice = 20 points
In view of the above Selection Criteria, it may be hereby further clarified that:
The candidates having Diploma in Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy, their diploma in pharmacy shall be treated as Basic Qualification & B.Pharmacy degree shall be treated as Higher Qualification.
The candidates having only B.Pharmacy Degree, their B. Pharmacy degree shall be treated as Basic qualification (I’e in place of Diploma in Pharmacy) otherwise shall be treated as higher qualification.
The candidates having B.Pharmacy & M.Pharmacy degrees, their B.Pharmacy degree shall be treated as Basic qualification (I’e in place of Diploma in Pharmacy) and their M.Pharmacy degree Shall be treated as Higher Qualification.
Eligibility Criteria :
The applicant must be a permanent resident of District Baramulla of J&K UT.
The candidate(s) shall be a pharmacist, registered with J&K Pharmacy Council.
Preference shall be given to the candidates having Diploma in Pharmacy or higher related qualification from recognized institute.
He/She shall have working knowledge of operating computer for billing purposes.
He/She shall be unemployed for which he/she has to give an undertaking to the effect on stamp paper duly attested 1st Class Judicial Magestriate.
NOC from District Industry Centre and District Employment Officer.
Terms & Conditions
• PMJAKs shall run on 24x7 basis under the supervision of concerned Medical Superintendent.
• Engagement of pharmacists in PMJAK is a temporary arrangement for three years on performance basis and shall not conform any right for his/her permanent absorption/regularization in the department and can be terminated at any time without further notice.
• Out of 20% margin on MRP of each drug as per guidelines at present, each registered Pharmacist shall be provided 7.5% (For two Pharmacists Total=15%) of margin on MRP of each drug and the rest 5% of the margin shall go to the Hospital Development Fund of the concerned Hospital.
• Only the medicines supplied by Bureau of Pharma PSUs of India (BPPI) should be sold at PMBJAK.
• All the billing should be done by using software provided by BPPI. No medicine can be sold in the PMBJAK without using the software provided by BPPI.
• The services of registered Pharmacists taken up by the department shall be designated as Jan Aushadhi Store Manager having primarily responsibility for day-to-day operations of Jan Aushadhi Store in accordance with terms & conditions.
• Registered Pharmacists whose services are taken up by the department to work in the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra as Jan Aushadhi store manager shall have to execute an agreement with the department through the concened Medical Superintendent/Incharge attested by 1st Class Magistrate, that he/she will abide by all the terms & Conditions as laid down by the department & shall work under the supervision of the concerned Medical Superintendent and shall not claim any regular appointment/ regularization in the department in view of this agreement.
• That Jan Aushadhi Store Manager shall abide by all the terms & conditions of the agreement to be executed between the medical superintendent of the concerned Hospital & BPPI.
• The PMBJAK operator will not be allowed to sell allied medical products, commonly sold in chemist shops. They are also not allowed to sell any medicine other than meant for Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadi kendra. That, continuation of Jan Aushadhi Store Manager shall be based on his/her performance vouched by the Committee on the basis of the report submitted by the concerned Medical Superintendent.
• That, in case of unsatisfactory performance by the Jan Aushadhi Store Manager, hired to work in the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendra, the committee shall be well within its power to terminate the services of Registered Pharmacist(s) and substituted by the selecting another registered pharmacist by following due selection process.
• The taxes as payable under rules shall be paid by the assesses.
• Application(s) can be rejected by the Recruitment committee if found not falling in the required criteria. Number of posts is indicative only and may increase or decrease.
• Other details regarding the Advertisement notice can be had from the office of Medical Superintendent Associated Hiospital GMC Baramulla.
• Interested candidates from District Baramulla can only apply by sending their applications on the prescribed format attached as Annexure “A” .The duly filled in application form along with all required/relevant documents mentioned below & recent passport size photographs(attested) should reach the office of the Medical Superintendent Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla by or before 4th January 2024 & accordingly walk in interview of eligible candidates shall be conducted on 7th January 2024 at 11:00 AM in the office chamber of Medical Superintendent Associated Hospital GMC Baramulla.
