Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homoeopathy (PCIM&H), is a subordinate office under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.Development of Pharmacopoeias and Formularies as well as acting as Central Drug Testing cum Appellate Laboratory for Indian systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy are the key fields of activity of PCIM&H. The Commission was initially established as Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine (PCIM) on 18th August, 2010 as an autonomous body under Ministry of AYUSH and was registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 on 31st August, 2010.
PCIM&H is conducting walk in interview on 27/12/2023 for engaging contractual staffs for following posts under the NMPB sponsored project entitled "Establishment of Regional Raw Drug Repository (Gangetic Plain Region)" on purely Contract basis.
Post : JRF (Microbiology) - 01 Post
Age limit : 28 years
Qualifications : Essential 1. M.Sc. in Microbiology with minimum 55% from a recognized university/ institution
2. Minimum 01 year experience in Microbiology related work.
Desirable : Working experience in any Govt. Organization.
Monthly remuneration (consolidated) : Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA
Works to be carried out : fasting of Microbial Loads
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned above may appear for the Walk-in- Interview in Committee Room of Admin Block of PCIM&H on 27/12/2023 along with duly filled-in prescribed application form, original testimonials and attested photo copies of the following certificates - a. Certificate in support of age (high school/matriculate) issued by any recognized Board, b. Certificate in support of educational Qualification & experience. Interview will start at about 11 AM.
Note
1. The engagement will be purely on contractual basis and no claim for continuance or regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The contract initially would be for a maximum period of one year and may be further extended on year to year basis, subject to functional requirements and also subject to appraisal of the performance.
3. All staff will be subject to the guidelines of National Medical Plants Board.
4. The eligibility of candidates will be determined as per the fulfillment of essential qualification and experience.
5. For interview at PCIM&H, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. The Director, PCIM&H reserves the right to accept or reject the application and postpone or cancel the interview' without assigning any reason.
