NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products and Pharmaceutics and over the period of time three more specialisations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology and Toxicology were added in 2010. Subsequently in 2011, to cater the needs of Medical device industry in India, another feather was added to the cap of NIPER Ahmedabad in the form of specialisation in Medical Devices.
Post : Research Associate (RA)
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for temporary Research Associate (RA) position in the project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Ad Hoc Project. The position is temporary and the offer will be initially for a period of ONE Year that can be extended further based on the performance and will be co-terminus with the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. for the project is given below.
Project Title/area : To investigate greenphotothermal nanomaterial for laser-directed diabetic wound healing in mice model
Qualification : Ph.D in Pharmaceutics / Pharmacology / Medical Devices / Biotechnology Biomedical Engineering / Bioengineering / Life Sciences / Materials science / or relevant stream
Experience required : Candidates with independent work experience in following :
• Bioanalysis, Biotechnological techniques, experience in handling small animals (Rat/ Mouse)
Job Profile : To contribute in planning and execution of the experiments related to formulation development, purification, and its characterization. Assist in writing project report, inventory management, fund management. Data entry and analysis using appropriate softwares such as excel, sigma stat etc. Writing manuscripts and presenting data in conferences.
Fellowship : Rs.47000 + HRA @27% Rs.12,690/-p.m. = 59690/- per month
